A Tea that is Bold without Bitterness

I have been drinking English Breakfast tea for decades. When I first discovered Grace Rare Teas and tried their Winey Keemun, I was shocked at how good a tea that I thought just ordinary might taste. Over the years, I have drunk many cups of Grace's Winey Keemun and find the current blend to be just as fine, just as refined, just as enjoyable as ever I remember it being. This tea is bold without being a) bitter, b) too highly forward and strong without flavor, and c) just plain enjoyable.

Grace Winey Keemun seems to lack its previous flavor. I do like your English Breakfast, which I did not include in recent order.

    A great tea

We have been purchasing this tea for over 45 years. It is our favorite go to tea. We enjoy several different blends, but this tea is our go to tea. I was looking back over the years and can remember when we ordered direct from Grace Tea. The invoice came typed out on a typewriter. Alot has changed, but not the quality or taste of this blend. Thanks R&S, Fitchburg, WI

    Our go to favorite

We use lots of tea (breakfast, and daily afternoon tea). Our "place of honor" is the lovely Mahogany tea caddy from Williamsburg. We store our three favourite teas there; from left to right, Grace Tea Connoisseur Blend, Winey Kemun, and Owner's Blend. My wife's favorite is Winey Kemun. I have helped host several teas at our church, as well as at our house. Winey Kemun is always our go to tea. I have turned many people on to good quality loose leaf tea.

    Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take for my order to ship?

We strive to ship orders within 2-3 days of receipt. However, due to the handcrafted nature of our products, combined with inventory limitations, some orders may take longer to ship. If there is a significant delay in shipping your order, we will contact you directly with details.

Are your teas cultivated naturally? Are they Organic?

All our teas are sourced from tea estates, suppliers and importers that we have personally worked with for decades and many for generations! We only purchase teas that have been cultivated naturally, devoid of pesticides and growth agents.

Teas that have the term “Organic” in the products name have gone through additional certification by the country or origin and USFDA. Even though all our products are natural, we are unable to list them as Organic unless they have gone through these steps. Sometimes, this certification can be costly and time consuming for growers. Each country has different regulations, so many sell the teas to us without this extra labeling.

How long does tea stay fresh?

If sealed properly and stored away from extreme hot/cold temps and moisture, tea will stay as flavorful as the day you bought it, even after 18 months.

How long should I brew my tea?

Tea brewing times and water temperature can vary between tea varieties. Please consult this link to find the best method for your tea!
