Applauded by tea enthusiasts for many years, Boston Harbour Tea is an exceptional blend of the finest hand-picked black teas from Sri Lanka and Darjeeling. Teas grown in Sri Lanka are know as Ceylon teas and have a distinct taste that makes for the perfect afternoon tea. Darjeeling teas are grown in the high-altitude foothills of the Himalayas.

Due to the unique climate in the Darjeeling region, teas grown in this part of India tend to have a stimulating taste and aroma, setting them apart from other black teas. When brewed, Boston Harbour Tea produces a golden cup with a sweet aroma and a brisk flavor that is sure to please.

Each resealable bag contains 4 oz. of our signature loose leaf tea blend and will make approximately 40 cups of tea!

    My favorite black tea

    This is a wonderful tea to start my day: its flavor is smooth and is not as bitter as some teas. I bought it in a beautiful tin years ago; unfortunately, the tin no longer seems available. I am glad that this tea is still available, and I can keep refilling my tin.

    Good Tea

    It’s been several years since I purchased this tea as local tea shop source closed. Was glad to find it again online, but happy I’d saved the metal boxes from previous purchases for storage. The current packaging is not as charming as the tin boxes. I seem to remember this tea having a stronger flavor, but current purchase is OK.

    I didn't know what this tea would taste like but very bright and nice! Love it. Might become one of my regular drinking teas - when I have my teatime alone.

    My afternoon "time out" . . .

    I'm an entrepreneur, so I govern my daily schedule, with two times in my agenda each day being non-negotiable. My very early morning - is a cup of freshly ground coffee served as a Latte - is my personal reading time, followed by at 3:00 - thoroughly enjoying my "Tea Time" (English-style) - with a cup of Mark T Wendell black Tea, being from somewhere in the World - all thanks to the incredible black tea varieties of Wendell teas, of which, I always have several on hand, housed in their charming tins - this being my business reading time. These both are my daily rituals, that I so look forward to each day - with my Latte kicking off my day and my delightful "Tea Time" and perhaps a cookie or two - being my relaxing time after a very full and busy day.

    How long does it take for my order to ship?

    We strive to ship orders within 2-3 days of receipt. However, due to the handcrafted nature of our products, combined with inventory limitations, some orders may take longer to ship. If there is a significant delay in shipping your order, we will contact you directly with details.

    Are your teas cultivated naturally? Are they Organic?

    All our teas are sourced from tea estates, suppliers and importers that we have personally worked with for decades and many for generations! We only purchase teas that have been cultivated naturally, devoid of pesticides and growth agents.

    Teas that have the term “Organic” in the products name have gone through additional certification by the country or origin and USFDA. Even though all our products are natural, we are unable to list them as Organic unless they have gone through these steps. Sometimes, this certification can be costly and time consuming for growers. Each country has different regulations, so many sell the teas to us without this extra labeling.

    How long does tea stay fresh?

    If sealed properly and stored away from extreme hot/cold temps and moisture, tea will stay as flavorful as the day you bought it, even after 18 months.
