This is my favorite black tea. I've tried most of Wendell tea black offerings and I love this one. The flavor, aroma, and color are lovely. (Posted on 5/26/2018)

How can there be only one review of this beautiful tea? I simply have never had anything better, period. And it is organic as well, which is essential these days. Clarity of flavor, bright, and smooth. (Posted on 3/15/2018)

This is a rich, malty tea that stands up well to milk or is just as good plain. Not my favorite black tea, but I am enjoying every cup. Original Review Submitted: 1/21/09 (Posted on 10/25/2017)

Organic Ceylon (Blackwood Estate)

Grown at the Blackwood Estate in Ceylon, this tea is certified organic by its growers. A strong tea with a full, brisk flavor, it produces a liquor that is bright and sparkling in the cup.

Brewing Tips: Organic Ceylon tea should be made with cold, filtered water that has been brought to a rolling boil (205-212° F). Using one rounded teaspoon of loose tea or one teabag for each cup required, pour the boiling water over the tea leaves. Organic Ceylon tea should be steeped for 4-5 minutes. Once the ideal brewing time has been reached, the leaves should be removed to prevent further steeping. Decant and enjoy!
