This flavored green tea offering is a blend of select sencha style China green tea leaves, pieces of strawberry, raspberry, rhubarb, rose petals, mallow flowers and cornflowers.

Visually appealing with its red, white and blue pieces contrasting the dark green tea leaves, this Paradise green tea has a fresh taste with a delicate sweetness. This blend makes a refreshing iced tea with interesting fruit notes in each glass.

Brewing Tips: Our Green Paradise tea blend should be made with cold, filtered water that has been brought to a boil and then allowed to cool for 1 minute (170-180° F). Using one rounded teaspoon of loose tea or one teabag for each cup required, pour the boiling water over the tea leaves. Our Green Paradise Blend should be steeped for 2-3 minutes. Once the ideal brewing time has been reached, the leaves should be removed to prevent further steeping. Decant and enjoy!

1 pound of loose leaf tea will make approximately 160 cups of brewed tea

8 ounces of loose leaf tea will make approximately 80 cups of brewed tea

4 ounces of loose leaf tea will make approximately 40 cups of brewed tea

    This tea is so clear and delicate and flavorful--it almost tastes as if it has been sweetened. Each sip leaves a pleasant, creamy fullness in my mouth, but my tongue doesn't pucker. The flecks of raspberry, strawberry, rhubarb and cornflowers look so cheerful against the dark blue-green leaves, and the liquor is a mid-toned amber green. The floral-fruit scent is not overpowering, but it places this tea in the "special occasion" category, instead of an everyday tea. Perfect for spring mornings or balmy afternoons.

    It took me a while to warm up to green tea because I found it to taste bitter. However, when I realized I had been steeping it too long and learned the correct tea-to-water ratio, a whole new world opened up to me. Of the 6 green tea samples I recently ordered from MTW, Paradise Blend is one I will definitely reorder. I can't wait to try Paradise Green iced soon.     How long does it take for my order to ship?

    Are your teas cultivated naturally? Are they Organic?

    All our teas are sourced from tea estates, suppliers and importers that we have personally worked with for decades and many for generations! We only purchase teas that have been cultivated naturally, devoid of pesticides and growth agents.

    Teas that have the term “Organic” in the products name have gone through additional certification by the country or origin and USFDA. Even though all our products are natural, we are unable to list them as Organic unless they have gone through these steps. Sometimes, this certification can be costly and time consuming for growers. Each country has different regulations, so many sell the teas to us without this extra labeling.

    How long does tea stay fresh?

    If sealed properly and stored away from extreme hot/cold temps and moisture, tea will stay as flavorful as the day you bought it, even after 18 months.
