An unusual and brisk tea, I began drinking this over a decade ago in a British tea room. However, Mark T. Wendell's blend is my favorite! It is my ultimate morning cup and all others pale by comparison. I use cream and no sugar, although I can see why some would prefer a bit of sweet. It would also be good iced. Highly recommended. Take time to enjoy the various flavours of spices coming from the steam of this tea. Very good with a lot of milk and some sugar. Original Review Submitted: 12/5/07 (Posted on 10/25/2017)

Ginger Black

This flavored black tea is a robust blend of China Congou black tea, ginger pieces and natural essence of pure ginger root.

Brewing Tips: Our Ginger Flavored Black tea should be made with cold, filtered water that has been brought to a rolling boil (205-212° F). Using one rounded teaspoon of loose tea or one teabag for each cup required, pour the boiling water over the tea leaves. Ginger Flavored Black tea should be steeped for 4-5 minutes. Once the ideal brewing time has been reached, the leaves should be removed to prevent further steeping. Decant and enjoy!
