Welcome to our Decaffeinated Black and Green Tea Selections
Over the years, we have had many customers request decaffeinated tea offerings. Whether you must avoid caffeine for medical reasons or because it doesn’t allow you to get a good night’s rest, these teas are just what you need. We are proud to offer three black decaffeinated teas and one decaffeinated green option that, unlike many others, taste great when brewed.
Brewing Tips: Decaffeinated English Breakfast, Decaffeinated Earl Grey and Decaffeinated Darjeeling should be made with cold, filtered water that has been brought to a rolling boil (205° F). Using one rounded teaspoon of loose tea or one teabag for each cup required, pour the boiling water over the tea leaves. Decaffeinated English Breakfast and Decaffeinated Earl Grey should be steeped for 5 minutes. Decaffeinated Darjeeling should be steeped for 3-4 minutes. Decaffeinated Sencha Green should be made with water that has boiled and allowed to cool for just under a minute and then infused for 2-3 minutes. Once the ideal brewing time has been reached, the leaves should be removed to prevent further steeping.
