Gyokuro is one of Japan’s most prized and rarest of teas. Its long, slender, dark green leaves are obtained by shading the tea plant for three weeks before it is hand cut with scissors. It brews a greenish-gold color with a mouth-filling flavor and has a pronounced natural fragrance incomparable to other green teas.
